A night at the circus: A review.

Omg, I am so sorry! I thought I published this last week but I’ve just seen it’s been a draft the whole time! What a moron!

– this week I read to kill a mockingbird, and I have a review to post ASAP but I just broke up with my boyfriend of like 2 years and so I need a moment or two to just deal with that. But I will post it soon, promise.

Okay guys I’m not going to lie to you… I didn’t finish this one. I’m sorry, I really am. But I just didn’t enjoy it.
I know it’s an important modern novel and I’m not suggesting it shouldn’t be. I just didn’t have the ability to be invested in something I couldn’t keep my attention on.

I found the characters hard to relate to and to be honest, quite annoying. I know I know, I don’t even like saying that about any book because all literature is important but that’s just how I feel.

Having said that, I know so many people that are outraged by my response and love the book so you should still give it a read. You never know, it might be to you what Catcher in the Rye is to me.

Next: To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee. Let’s hope this one is one for me!
